The Fiery New Shades of Exploration

Ji Chang-Wook is wearing the renowned Swiss watchmaker’s captivating Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Skeleton. The actor’s new watch premieres in the Swiss brand’s hit Captain Cook collection under the motto, “The Art of Skeletonization”. Equipped with an anti-magnetic NivachronTM hairspring, the precise mechanical movement can also be admired from the back through a transparent sapphire crystal.

DiaStar Original Skeleton

The aesthetic “bang” of this new DiaStar Original Skeleton watch goes beyond the yellow-gold coloured case. It also features Rado’s much-celebrated Art of Skeletonization, which means that the innovative anthracite-grey coated version of the R808 automatic calibre is on full display through the sapphire crystal, both on the front and back of the case. The “Rado” and “DiaStar” logos are creatively printed on the inside of the front crystal. The movement, which has been thoroughly tested in five different positions, is equipped with a Nivachron™ balance hairspring, making it particularly resistant to the influence of the magnetic fields that are increasingly a part of our daily lives. The R808 movement offers a power reserve of 80 hours. The watch is water resistant to 10 bar / 100 metres.
