Advantage, Rado

Advantage, Rado

Whether on grass, clay or hard courts, tennis is a game of fine margins. Similarly, Rado’s timepieces are about finding that winning edge – the Rado difference. By adopting innovative materials such as high-tech ceramic and sapphire crystal, it gives the brand a natural advantage, and an effortless style.

A SPORTY NEW RADO CAPTAIN COOK DAZZLES WITH THREE DIFFERENT SUMMER LOOKS

When Rado relaunched its celebrated Captain Cook in 2017, it immediately captured the hearts – and found its way to the wrists – of watch aficionados around the world. That classic timepiece took its inspiration from the 37mm original, which was introduced in 1962, and the line has continued to evolve ever since. And now, just in time for summer in the northern hemisphere, the brand has launched a sporty new interpretation of the Captain Cook Automatic with a stunning blue-to-white gradient dial. It features an EasyClip system and is delivered with three different straps so wearers can adapt their watches’ look to their moods.

Rado Talents Team x Swiss Tennis

Rado supports the next generation

Since 2016, Rado has supported Swiss tennis as an association partner of Swiss Tennis, the third-largest Swiss sports association. The watch brand Rado is reaffirming its collaboration with Swiss Tennis and will be even more committed to the association's young tennis talents in the future. Rado is thus building on its own international YoungStars programme, with which the watch brand accompanies promising tennis talents on their career path - with the aim of forming a team of players who will make it to the top.

Rado YoungStars

Next Gen

Our globally renowned YoungStars programme supports some of the most exciting up-and-coming tennis players on the circuit. Our aim is to create a team of fearless players blazing a trail to the top. We’ll be with them every step of the way.

Cameron Norrie

Cameron Norrie is the most recent young tennis pro to join the ranks of Rado’s rising stars. A South African who grew up in New Zealand and has represented Great Britain since 2013, Cameron is currently enjoying his best season to date: at 25 the former Top-10 junior is ranked at a career high 29, reflecting his 35 tour-level wins in 2021, including his first career ATP Tour title at the Mifel Open in Los Cabos, Mexico. Cameron’s maiden title came in his fourth ATP Tour final of the season following earlier runs to the championship match in Estoril, Lyon and at The Queen’s Club.

Cameron Norrie

Sport plays a big role in Cameron’s off-court life, too. He relaxes – by watching tennis, basketball and cricket, and is a fan of both the American (NFL) and British varieties of football (Newcastle United in particular). He also spends time with music and on the beach, at least when he isn’t busy working on his game.

Linda Nosková

Rado YoungStar Linda Nosková’s enormous potential was clear from a young age. After an impressive career as a Junior, she was still only 17 years old when she broke into the top 100 in the WTA world rankings. After notching up victories over two Top Ten players inside a week and reaching the final of the WTA 500 tournament in Adelaide, she moved up into the top 50 in January 2023.

Nevertheless, she considers her biggest personal success so far to be her doubles victory over her idol Serena Williams at the US Open in 2022. Linda Nosková wears a Rado True Square Open Heart in white high-tech ceramic.

J.J. Wolf

American tennis player J.J. Wolf is a genuine all-around athlete: in addition to tennis, as a young man he played soccer, basketball, and baseball. It wasn’t until 2019 that he decided to pursue a career as a professional tennis player, and today he is ranked in the top 50 in the world by the ATP.

Luca Nardi

Leandro Riedi

Leandro Riedi

Swiss player Leandro Riedi has been a member of the Rado YoungStars team since April 2023. He was only three years old when he picked up his first tennis racket. He also played soccer for a few years, but at age nine decided to focus exclusively on tennis – a decision he does not regret. In Junior Grand Slam tournaments he won a doubles title at the Australian Open, and was runner-up in the singles at Roland Garros.

Leandro Riedi

Thanks to an impressive 2022 at the Challenger level, Leandro moved up over 600 spots in the ATP rankings in less than two years. Along with tennis he remains a huge football fan – Tottenham Hotspur, to be precise – and, when his tournament schedule allows it, he enjoys bowling with his friends.
